A client of Insight Global is looking for a Jr-Level Remote Cloud Engineer to join their team supporting a federal client. We?re looking for a Cloud Engineer to assist AWS-native migration efforts... across cloud environments. This role involves designing architectures, resolving differences in networking, IAM, monitoring stacks, and system agents, and building CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure automation. The engineer will collaborate closely with engineering, application, and business teams to align migration impacts and facilitate technical workshops. Experience with Terraform and DevSecOps tools is essential, along with thorough documentation of system architecture, IAM roles, and logging configurations. Strong communication and stakeholder management are key.Compensation: $42/hr. -- 49/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
