Insight Global is seeking an Industrial Automation Engineer in Warner Robins, GA for one of their government clients. This individual will be a direct hire employee and will be working on site 5 days... a week. This person will be responsible for analyzing current manufacturing processes and identifying areas for improvement within quality, cost, efficiency and safety. They will be designing and implementing standard operating procedures and control plans. This person will bridge the gap between Operational Technology (OT), the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), and manufacturing process improvement. They will be leading continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen while supporting digital transformation efforts such as MES implementations, IIoT sensor integration, predictive maintenance, and smart dashboards. There will be opportunity to collaborate with IT, automation, and production teams to integrate digital tools with systems like PLC, SCADA, ERP, and MES, using analytics platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Python, and Excel to monitor KPIs and process performance in real time.
