Piping Visualization Designer

An environmental engineering firm that specializes in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities is looking to bring on a Visualization Designer who is specialized in Process Piping Design. As a part of the Visualization team, this person will assist with developing proposals, visualization images for projects, animations, and renderings that are included in proposals to clients as new projects are in initial stages of approval. This person will need a strong interest/passion for graphic design, imagery, and vision setting. This person will also, however, be tied directly to the Process Mechanical discipline group; the will occasionally be asked to assist with drafting/design responsibilities related directly to municipal water projects nationwide. This can include large, industrial grade piping systems for water treatment, pipe racks, and heavy BIM coordination. A deep understanding of process piping design, along with a strong interest in Visualization are crucial for this position. The primary software from a design perspective will be Revit, but Visualization projects may be created in Lumion, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, InfoWorks, and others. This role will be a 6-month contract to hire, with the primary goal being permanent conversion. This role is mid-level, and hourly pay rate will range from $45-$60/hr. This role has the potential for remote capabilities.
