Insight Global is looking for an Inspection Technology Technician to join a growing team supporting the Advanced Manufacturing Industry. The Inspection Technology Technician II supports daily production by operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated vision and inline inspection systems on the manufacturing floor. The role focuses on first-line response to inspection issues by diagnosing camera, lens, lighting, trigger, sensor, communication, and industrial PC problems to quickly restore stable inspection performance and minimize downtime. The technician adjusts and verifies inspection recipes and parameters such as thresholds, regions of interest, filters, and decision logic to address false rejects or false accepts and confirms effectiveness through on-site validation. Responsibilities include performing routine system checks, basic hardware maintenance, and calibration activities, as well as collecting inspection logs, images, and data to support root cause analysis and escalation to engineering teams when needed. The technician works closely with production, process, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to resolve line issues, support change control, maintain inspection stability, and ensure consistent quality performance in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
