Insight Global is seeking an Oracle Database Administrator for one of our largest clients in Downtown Cleveland. This role is part of a core operations team responsible for delivering, supporting, and operating enterprise database systems for application teams, handling anything and everything related to the platforms they support. Day to day, the role involves supporting a wide range of database technologies and architectures including Oracle 19c, autonomous databases, cloud hosted databases, Data Guard, standalone and single instance environments, as well as the underlying operating systems. The team delivers systems for new projects, performs frequent database migrations and upgrades, and ensures environments are stable, performant, and aligned with application architecture. A strong understanding of database and application architecture is required, as the role operates independently without needing architectural concepts explained.
