Life doesn’t always go according to plan. A sudden illness, unexpected loss, or family emergency can turn someone’s world upside down. And when those moments happen, having people in your corner can make all the difference.
That’s the idea behind the Insight Global Family Foundation (IGFF). Since 2020, the IGFF has provided financial assistance to eligible employees and consultants across the United States who need it most. This year, that support extended internationally, allowing the company to support even more of its people worldwide.
Now, IGFF is marking another major milestone: its 1,000th grant being awarded. But this milestone is much more than a number. Behind each grant are 1,000 stories of people navigating some of life’s most difficult moments, and some often a lot closer to home than it may seem.
For Insight Global employee Christin Delassantos and her family, the last two years have brought unimaginable challenges. In October 2024, Christin’s husband was diagnosed with colon cancer, beginning a difficult journey for their family. After nearly a year and a half of treatment and recovery, he returned to work in April 2026, giving the family a chance to begin finding their footing again.
Just months later, an unrelated medical emergency led to additional surgeries and an extended ICU stay, once again leaving the family navigating the financial strain of a serious health crisis. During this difficult time, Christin turned to the IGFF, where Insight Global employee and IGFF Committee Member Courtney Luther helped her navigate the documentation needed for her case. With that support, Christin was able to navigate the process quickly and receive financial assistance when her family needed it most. That support meant relief to focus on what mattered most: healing, recovery, and being together.
“The support gave our family a chance to simply breathe,” said Delassantos.
That’s what the IGFF is all about. At Insight Global, our purpose is to develop our people personally, professionally, and financially so they can be the light to the world around them.
