?Resource Management: oPlan and supervise Assistant Superintendent (on larger projects) and/or craft activities such as, determining method of construction, workforce levels, material quantities equipment, temporary power sources, work schedule and documenting actual hours worked. oMaintain liaison with other departments such as Material Control, Purchasing, Quality Control, and Engineering to ensure all required materials, equipment, inspections, support craft activities and project schedule.?Project Planning and Strategy: oCoordinate assigned work with the work of different crafts, company departments, or other contractors.?Risk Management: oAssist the Labor Relations Department in maintaining communications with unions, resolving jurisdictional disputes, requisitioning required workforce, and as necessary the labor approach for the projects assigned. oMonitor craft compliance with project safety program requirements; document and ensure corrective measures are implemented.?Team Leadership: oMaintain liaison with engineering, estimating, and planning to ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and schedule. oExperience assisting in resolving construction problems such as lack of productivity and work interfaces is required.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. ?Strong technical foundation in mission-critical MEP systems:oMedium- and low-voltage electrical distributionoOne-line diagrams and operational sequencesoUPS systems, batteries, and power electronicsoGenerators and paralleling gearoChilled water plants, CRAH/CRAC units, and mechanical cooling sequencesoBMS/EPMS controls and integration logic?Hands-on commissioning experience:oExperience executing commissioning plans, PFCs, functional tests, and ISToFamiliarity with ASHRAE, BCxA, NEBB, and similar commissioning standardsoFamiliarity with owner-specific commissioning sequences (L-levels, etc.)oAbility to lead vendors and subcontractors through structured test scriptsoComfort troubleshooting failures under schedule pressure?Safety & energization competency:oDeep understanding of LOTO, electrical safety, and energization protocolsoAbility to coordinate safe startup of MV/LV systemsoExperience working within strict energy-control frameworks (e.g., AWS Energy Marshall model)oUnderstanding of aggressive turnover milestones and safe, phased energization ?Strong documentation & controls discipline:oManage commissioning logs, test scripts, deficiency lists, and turnover packagesoWork in structured platforms (Procore, BIM 360, SharePoint, or owner-specific tools)oMaintain traceability and version control across thousands of test points?Cross-functional coordination skills:oEffectively coordinate across subcontractors, OEMs, GC construction teams, owner Cx teams, and ops readiness teams?Problem-solving & root-cause analysis ability:oDiagnose electrical, mechanical, or controls issues quicklyoWork with OEMs to resolve failuresoRetest and validate fixes under tight deadlines?Demonstrate effective teamwork, maintain a professional demeanor, and foster positive relationships inside and outside the team.?Willingness to travel/relocate for future projects within the continental USA.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. ?Participate as a core member of an Agile Scrum team, attending daily stand ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives ?Design, develop, enhance, and maintain COBOL batch and online (CICS) applications supporting critical business functions ?Write, modify, and support JCL for batch processing, scheduling, and job control ?Develop and maintain DB2 database interactions, including SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning ?Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical designs and working code ?Debug and resolve production issues, including batch abends, online transaction errors, and data discrepancies ?Collaborate closely with business analysts, QA, DevOps, and operations teams to deliver high quality solutions ?Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to standards, performance, and maintainability ?Contribute to application documentation, technical specifications, and knowledge sharing ?Support modernization initiatives, including integration with distributed systems and newer development tools ?Leverage modern development workflows (such as VSCode connected to the mainframe) to improve developer productivity ?Explore and responsibly apply AI assisted development tools to accelerate analysis, troubleshooting, and coding where appropriateWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
