The daily responsibilities of the RN will include administering Chemotherapy medications and administering Iron, hydration therapy and more. They will be responsible for assisting with any preparation of the medication needed and obtaining peripheral IV access or accessing chest ports. They will document all medications and patient assessments appropriately throughout the shift. As an LPN working in the shot room, you will administer injectable medications, including chemotherapy-related treatments that help patients recover, boost cell counts, and manage fatigue.
