We are seeking a designer who has experience working in enterprise environments and who can support end-to-end UX designs for mobile products, with an emphasis on design research, usability testing and writing briefs, as well as defining and unpacking the requirements to design stronger customer experiences. Candidates will have a customer-forward mentality, have strong experience designing user-centered designs, can work within complex high-touch journeys, and be strong design thinker to apply design thoughts to execution. Candidates should be comfortable taking initiative in ambiguous situations, working directly with stakeholders, collaborating in whiteboarding sessions, and have strong UX processes to work in the day-to-day environment. Teh team is very collaborative, so we are seeking a team player who is open to sharing in a design setting and can collaborate in Figma. More Ridge, NJ or NYC, to work in a hybrid model. Candidates will be joining a Home Application team that supports different portfolios within the customer facing application. The three areas of focus will be end to end product design for application and product features, innovation and AI work, and Figma work with a emphasis on building patterns and designing new components for the design system. This is a consumer facing application, so candidates should understand the user and have experience designing applications that connect with a physical product consumers use. On a day to day basis, candidates will spend about 50% of their time designing, 25% of their time creating decks and working with stakeholders, and another 25% of their time concepting and innovating for future features. In this role candidates will work with a Principal Designer and be aligned to a track of work to help own the end to end design process. Candidates should be comfortable with prototyping, user research and testing, as well as understanding design limitations and designing in a set of parameters.
