The remaining 25% will be dedicated to new development and application enhancements. They will be working on the Rural Digital Opportunity Fund (RDOF) program (a government subsidized program that will bring high speed fixed broadband service to rural homes and small businesses that lack it) and the E-Rate program (government subsidized program in which public schools & libraries bid for Request for Proposals (RFPs) for telecommunication services). The proposal specialists will have to validate the bids by analyzing: the address, the services and requirements (can their company provide those services?), the risks, etc. They will have to request site surveys through Salesforce so the Construction team can assess the fiber construction and costs.
