Insight Global seeking a proactive, goal oriented, and detail-focused Industrial Project Engineer to lead industrial execution efforts. This person will play a critical role in supplier readiness, sourcing strategy, and production ramp execution – responsible for coordinating across one or more Integrated Product Teams (IPTs). These efforts are critical to ensure the parts meet requirements and perform as expected. We are seeking an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to support large-scale Gas & Heavy Industrial (GHI) and power generation projects across the United States. This role will serve as the technical lead for electrical engineering projects supporting fossil fuel power plants, renewable energy facilities, and energy storage projects. This individual is responsible for overseeing electrical design from concept development through detailed engineering, construction support, and project completion. Projects may involve new power generation facilities, plant modernization efforts, performance improvement initiatives, capacity upgrades, and life-extension programs for existing generation assets. The role requires close collaboration with clients, project managers, and multidisciplinary engineering teams while serving as the electrical subject matter expert for the project.Additional details/responsibilities: ? Serve as the engineer of record and technical lead for electrical scopes of work.? Evaluating existing electrical infrastructure, transformer capacity, protection and relays equipment, etc. ? Lead the design for one-line diagrams, power distribution systems, switchgear design, grounding systems generator connections, etc. ? Develop electrical design concepts for new build and retrofit projects.? Clients can include utility providers and independent power producers (IPPs) that are looking to develop or renovate fossil fuel power plants, renewable energy facilities, coal fire facilities, etc. ? Review and approve electrical engineering deliverables.? Ensure designs comply with applicable industry codes, standards, and client requirements.? Lead a single large-scale project or several smaller projects simultaneously.? Projects can range from a few million dollars to more than $1 billion in total installed value.?
