Key Responsibilities? Manage bills of materials, material forecasts, and requirement changes across active projects.? Coordinate material needs with engineering, construction managers, vendors, and warehouse teams.? Place and track material orders, shipments, deliveries, and inventory.? Identify and resolve shortages, delivery issues, and other material risks.? Provide material-readiness updates, status reports, and escalations.? Support site readiness and construction milestones across multiple projects.? Participate in project and operational meetings while managing competing priorities.Compensation: $20-$22.76/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. We are seeking a Procurement Lead to oversee procurement execution activities for large-scale capital projects while providing leadership, governance, and strategic direction to project procurement teams. This is a hybrid leadership role that combines people management, project procurement oversight, supplier engagement, and stakeholder communication.Leadership ResponsibilitiesDirectly manage a team of approximately six Procurement Specialists and Expeditors.Conduct quarterly performance reviews, KPI evaluations, and ongoing coaching discussions.Establish performance expectations and ensure team members understand key project metrics and objectives.Monitor workload distribution and provide support to ensure successful project execution.Mentor team members and support professional development initiatives.Participate in interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and talent development activities as the organization grows.Act as the escalation point for procurement-related issues and supplier concerns.Unlike Procurement Specialists, who focus on individual purchase orders and day-to-day procurement execution, the Procurement Lead is responsible for managing the overall procurement strategy and performance for assigned projects.
