Reporting to the Director of Asset Management, the Asset Manager serves as the primary point of contact for assigned properties and maintains close visibility into performance, compliance, and operational conditions. Insight Global is seeking an Automotive HIL Validation Engineer to support Ford’s Chassis Software Validation team. This group is responsible for validating software that supports critical chassis functions, including steering, braking, electronic parking brake (EPB), passive suspension systems, and next-generation zonal controller architectures.The team is currently supporting a new vehicle platform where multiple chassis controllers are being consolidated into a centralized zonal controller. This engineer will play a key role in validating software functionality, reviewing requirements, developing test cases, executing HIL testing, troubleshooting failures, and maintaining test infrastructure.This role is ideal for someone with a strong validation mindset who enjoys breaking requirements, identifying edge cases, and ensuring software performs as intended before vehicle integration.Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesReview software and system requirements to understand expected functionality and identify potential failure modes.Create detailed test cases based on system requirements and acceptance criteria.Execute validation activities across both virtual and physical Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) environments.Investigate test failures and conduct root cause analysis with software and systems engineering teams.Document test coverage, traceability, and validation results within Jama or Polarion.Support automated test execution utilizing ECU-TEST and related automation frameworks.Maintain and troubleshoot HIL infrastructure, hardware configurations, and test environments.Collaborate closely with software, controls, systems, and integration teams throughout the validation lifecycle.Ensure validation coverage for interactions across multiple chassis systems and controllers.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
