The Area Superintendent will work closely with members of the Construction Management, Facility Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Facility Operation, and Production Operation departments from planning, through installation and the start of production. This team member will supervise all on-site construction related to tool installation including scheduling of trade contractors, vendor tool installations, resolving day-to-day construction issues, performing day-to-day inspections to ensure compliance with plans and specifications while tracking project schedule. They are also responsible to ensure the quality of the work being performed by contractors or team members in the field.What You?ll Do- Coordinate and supervise all on-site construction activities including Electrical, Structural, Process, Mechanical and Instrumentation scopes- Develop execution plans/schedules, Participate in design reviews & Ensure frequent communication with key project individuals, job site personnel and other construction Managers- Manage contractors , Drive the fieldwork (space ready and utility hookup) to ensure schedule stays on track and elevate any installation issues to proper management- Develop and maintain site logistics and execution plans- Employ a can-do attitude, working through challenges with all stakeholders- Work with Engineering teams to resolve design roadblocks immediately & Enforce and maintain quality for engineering drawings and field installations; identify causes of issues and work with various teams to improve specifications and/or standards where required- Ensure installation meets end users? requirements and quality expectationsPay Range for this role is: $50 – $61 per hour depending on years of experience and education.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. You will work to understand the opportunities and challenges of each project, organize scattered information into a concise and complete message, document and communicate to every team member.Responsibilities ?Own the full design and engineering effort for construction and infrastructure development from concept to production to meet the organizations aggressive goals.?Dive deep to fundamentally understand and scrutinize technical stakeholders requirements and translate them into project scope with clear execution plan and responsibilities.?Manage all aspects of technical planning, scope development, change management, programming, design, and engineering services during construction.?Build and maintain strong relationships with the various cross-functional teams to ensure overall program alignment.?Synthesize and own report-outs, highlighting status, risks, mitigations and opportunities across all levels of management.?Troubleshoot walk down, and resolve control system issues that arise from the field. Support Paint Shop operations. Working knowledge of sanding, painting, and silk-screening activities in accordance with EPA standards. Specific experience using paint booth and paint parts as part of the production process.Knowledge and use of proper paint tips. Check paint for proper viscosity. Use of additives and thinner as required.Quality check paint coverage. Read and follow paint sheets. Keep accurate records of paint usage. Inventory paint. Clean and maintain paint guns and equipment. Responsible for government equipment and tools. Proper installation of paint filters on a daily shift basis. Wear a respirator, face shield, rubber and or chemical master gloves. Help with paint booth clean up. Continues to develop working knowledge of all operating standards, practices, and procedures, including safety procedures.
