Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Tax Specialist for a privately held computer security company in the Bay Area. This Tax Specialist will have at least eight years of experience in domestic compliance tax, international tax, and tax provision. This specialist will be mostly hands on but also doing some reviewing. They will be doing tax provisions such as revenue adjustments and book tax adjustments. ?Direct and drive key initiatives vital to complete several projects within the AV Fleet. These initiatives range from driving org level optimizations to scaling out AV testing.?Analyze & diagnose the underlying events contributing to these metrics, identify trends, and resolve top priority engineering work for improving the platform experience.?Drive implementation and/or recommend improvements across features and across the stack, in collaboration with the corresponding component engineering teams.?Scale out this iterative development process by developing more automation and leveraging from current operational teams/resources.?Assist in improving process and procedures within the team. As a Mechanical Engineer in this role, you will be the technical engine behind the multiple phases of mechanical (chiller/cooling) programs, specifically focusing on the modular components of hyperscale cooling plants. Your day-to-day involves a deep dive into technical execution: you will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of design reviews, submittals, and RFIs. You are responsible for ensuring “upstream product excellence” by coordinating engineering changes through CCBs, EBS, and Engineering Bulletins (EBs) to keep the global product line consistent. A significant portion of your time will be spent in technical meetings?scheduling, chairing, and documenting action items?to ensure the engineering teams stay in lockstep. You will also handle the critical task of documentation closeout, ensuring all project metadata and indexing are accurate within systems like AODocs and DCIP.
