Insight Global is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer II to join the Accurate Landing Team, focused on the development of next-generation reentry and recovery systems.This individual will play a critical role in designing and building mechanical systems for a rapidly evolving test vehicle program. The role is highly hands-on and spans the full product lifecycle?from concept development through build, integration, testing, and iteration.This is a high-ownership, small-team environment where engineers are expected to take systems from cradle to grave and adapt quickly as priorities shift.Key Responsibilities?Design and develop mechanical systems and mechanisms supporting accurate landing and recovery of reentry vehicles?Own mechanism development for: oParachute deployment systemsoControl actuation systemsoDrop test structures?Drive designs from concept through detailed CAD design, prototyping, manufacturing, and integration?Perform hand calculations and engineering analysis to inform design decisions?Lead design trades across performance, manufacturability, cost, and schedule?Support hands-on build activities including: oAssemblyoFit checksoIntegration troubleshooting?Participate in aerial drop test campaigns and support system validation?Qualify systems through environmental testing (vibration, shock, thermal, load)?Collaborate closely with manufacturing, technicians, supply chain, and external vendors?Generate and review engineering drawings and ensure adherence to GD&T standardsWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Insight Global is seeking a Site Safety Manager to support a large-scale manufacturing new-build project in Moreno Valley, CA. This role will be fully onsite and highly visible, requiring someone who can confidently communicate safety requirements, coordinate with experienced safety personnel, and work directly with clients and trade partners in a fast-moving construction environment. The ideal candidate is a strong field safety professional who understands construction workflows, can navigate competing hazards, and brings a collaborative, solutions-driven approach. This is a 3?4 month contract with the potential to continue on future projects and travel with the project team to upcoming sites.Day-to-Day-Serve as on-site safety presence for a large-scale new-build project-Communicate safety expectations clearly to contractors and client teams-Provide safety training, guidance, and field-level support-Respond to competing hazards and changing site conditions-Coordinate closely with two existing site safety professionals-Identify, communicate, and carefully implement corrective actions-Support hot work activities and ongoing construction phases (trenching largely complete)-Maintain professionalism and credibility with a seasoned, cautious safety teamWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
