Engineer and senior technical team members to design, build, and support scalable backend services and Java-based ETL pipelines in a cloud environment.This role is ideal for a strong Java/Spring Boot with deep backend experience, AWS exposure, and database expertise who can own end-to-end development, support post?go-live operations, and contribute in a fast-moving, delivery-focused environment.Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and enhance backend services and data pipeline components using Java and Spring Boot- Build and support ETL pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and enrichment of healthcare data- Perform end-to-end backend development, including database integration and API/service layer implementation- Work closely with the Principal Engineer on architecture, implementation, and technical decisions- Develop services that retrieve and process data from PostgreSQL databases and expose results through Spring Boot applications- Support AWS-based deployments and cloud-native backend services- Contribute to and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins- Use Git/Bitbucket workflows for source control, including code reviews, branching, merging, and versioning- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and non-production environments- Provide post?go-live support, bug fixes, and operational support as needed- Participate in code reviews and follow engineering best practices- Contribute to technical documentation, design discussions, and implementation planning- Communicate technical status, risks, and recommendations to stakeholdersCompensation: $15/hr - $25/hr USD.
