On a day-to-day basis, this individual will partner closely with business stakeholders and analytics teams to assess existing Tableau dashboards and lead their migration into Power BI. This includes... analyzing current data sources, calculations, and report logic, then recreating equivalent functionality using Power BI tools such as DAX and Power Query. The role will involve building and optimizing data models, designing intuitive and user-friendly dashboards, and ensuring all reporting aligns with enterprise standards for performance, governance, and security. The developer will conduct side-by-side validation between Tableau and Power BI outputs to ensure data accuracy, troubleshoot inconsistencies, and document all transformation logic. Additionally, they will support data integration efforts across cloud platforms (e.g., Snowflake), implement row-level security and access controls, and contribute to knowledge transfer and cross-training initiatives to enable long-term scalability and adoption.This position is a 6-month contract with opportunity to extend.
