Insight Global is searching for a Laser Test Technician to join our client in Milpitas, CA. They will be performing functional testing on systems, filling out documentation for tests, and performing... troubleshooting on issues that arise. They will need to be hands-on here, beyond traditional "pass/fail," of testing. They will be responsible for learning how to fully resolve troubleshooting errors, escalating only to supervisors and managers. This role involves a deeper dive in troubleshooting system errors, and requires a candidate who has the proven ability and aptitude to investigate issues like this. On top of doing functional testing and troubleshooting, they will be handling controlled documentation daily with a sharp eye for attention to detail. They will be loading software/data from excel onto systems (SAP, etc.) and configuring a system based on whatever region the system will be operating in. They will need to be very good at reading manufacturing instructions, and patiently resolving issues with a focus on quality over quantity to ensure the systems are fully functioning. This is a contract extending for 18 months and will be eligible for further extensions as this work is expected to continue long-term.
