The ideal candidate will have an Associates or Tech School Degree,... More or military experience (electrical, hands-on background). The test specialists will be working alongside the dynamics technicians to install instrumentation equipment and troubleshoot any issues involved with turbine testing. The primary focus of this role is to: run tests at customer sites to ensure efficiency of turbines, coordinate with manufacturing and vendors to ensure instrumentation is assembled correctly during operations, work with other teams to design/apply instrumentation methods for gas turbine hardware, manage validations projects alongside other teams, and review budgets/schedules/drawings. Some other aspects of this role require installing of cables in cable trays, packing/shipping/setting up test equipment, and traveling as needed for about 50% of the time. This is an extremely fast-paced role with opportunity for growth, so the client is seeking someone with an eagerness to learn. This is a contract position with the opportunity to go full-time once the candidate has shown competency in the role.
