Core responsibilities apply across disciplines, with emphasis based on assigned scope.Key ResponsibilitiesEnvironmental Health & Safety (EH&S)Partner with on-site EH&S teams to establish and maintain site safety, health, and security controlsEnsure compliance with corporate safety objectives and regulatory requirementsPromote a strong, proactive safety culture across all site activitiesProcurement & Owner-Furnished EquipmentEnsure the general contractor is properly managing site logistics related to owner-furnished equipment (OFCI)Maintain detailed awareness of OFCI schedules, deliveries, and documentationConfirm approved submittals are in place prior to delivery of owner-furnished equipmentInspect, receive, and verify equipment and materials upon arrival at the job siteConstruction Management & AdministrationMaintain an on-site presence Monday?Friday (typical hours 7:00 AM?5:00 PM), with flexibility for evenings, weekends, or emergency response as required by project scheduleMonitor daily construction activities to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and schedule milestonesParticipate in contractor-led meetings including OAC, subcontractor coordination, pull planning, BIM/VDC, design coordination, and RFI/Submittal reviewsProvide on-site technical SME support, including visual inspections and quality reviews for OFCI and contractor-furnished equipmentCoordinate with key stakeholders including contractors, utilities, inspection agencies, and neighboring propertiesAddress and help resolve on-site conflicts or disputes, escalating to Project Management when necessaryUnderstand and actively track project schedule milestones, identifying risks and impacts earlyCommunicate schedule impacts, delays, and mitigation strategies clearly and promptlyPrepare concise weekly and monthly reporting on progress, risks, variances, and corrective actionsQuality Control & AssuranceManage on-site job photography and documentationReview and support implementation of the general contractor?s Quality Control PlanOversee on-site QA/QC inspections and drive timely closure of punch-list itemsSupport efficient turnover of completed systems and spaces to OperationsDevelop and monitor quality metrics to identify trends and implement corrective actionsEnsure adherence to site cleanliness plans and data center construction best practices (e.g., dust control in critical spaces)Coordinate specialty testing and third-party inspection contractorsSite SecurityEnsure the general contractor maintains job site security in accordance with the approved, site-specific security planCost Control & Change ManagementAssist with pay application review and monitoring to support budget adherenceReview change orders and invoices in coordination with the Project ManagerCommissioning SupportSupport startup, commissioning, and training activities in coordination with engineering teams and the Commissioning AuthorityCloseout & TurnoverCoordinate with the Project Manager and engineering teams to collect and review turnover documentationEnsure turnover packages are complete, accurate, and suitable for transition to OperationsAdditional ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate proactive leadership and accountability on siteSupport special projects and non-standard initiatives as assignedFacilitate coordination across engineering, procurement, finance, and operations teamsAssist with department process improvement initiativesServe as site logistics lead for temporary facilities, office trailers, signage, equipment, and vehicles as requiredKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesStrong communication, listening, and interpersonal skillsAbility to identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical and operational issuesProven leadership presence with the ability to positively influence teamsStrong understanding of building systems and mission-critical construction processesKnowledge of cost estimating, budgeting, and schedule management principlesDemonstrated commitment to maintaining a safe work environmentStrong work ethic, adaptability, and ?can-do? mindsetSelf-starter capable of working independently in fast-paced construction environmentsWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
