Insight Global is looking for a Solar Commissioning Manager to join their team. This Commissioning Manager will work on one of the world?s largest PV Solar sites, for the clients. The primary roles are to oversee the subcontractors and OEMs delivery, installation, quality, plant testing, performance testing, ISO/GIA/PPA Testing and startup of a Battery Energy Storage System and Solar Coupled Power systems. To act as the Owner?s representative to oversee aspects of the energy storage system including site work, installation, status reporting, safety, quality control, startup, commissioning, testing and project close out (note the Owner will contract a turnkey EPC, this role will oversee the EPC and OEMs on the Owner’s behalf). Employees in this role manage and report on construction turnover, pre-energization, commissioning, and performance testing work performed by contractors and/or vendors at the project sitesParticipates in safety program and audits? Performs detailed system quality control inspections for completeness of installation vs. install manuals, engineering specifications and drawings and maintain detailed punch-list? Performs system walkdowns for mechanical complete prior to turnover or energization? Creation of and management of energization plans? Oversee the EPC and OEM commissioning procedures, status, and compliance? Assist in troubleshooting commissioning anomalies as the primary SME owner?s representative?
