Technical Field Advisor, (TFA), is a working field service consultant responsible for maintaining quality standards of the Client field service work, self-performing warranty repairs, environment, safety, and the overall performance of crew / contractors on field projects. The TFA is the primary on site guide in assembly, service, and repair of transformers and other work at an electrical substation or power plant. The TFA is responsible for the successful execution of projects, both technically and administratively. Critical Systems Electrician

Hampden, PA

? Ensure all electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment in the data center operates at peak efficiency.? Perform planned preventative maintenance, daily corrective work, and emergency response for critical systems.? Serve as an expert technical resource, reporting to a program manager and interacting with Onsite Engineering Operations (OEO) and third-party vendors.? Act as the main point of contact for all facility operations within the assigned data center.? Maintain better than 99.999% uptime for mission-critical server support equipment.? Apply safe working practices, including lockout/tagout procedures, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and good housekeeping.? Use hand tools and test equipment to install, troubleshoot, and repair new or replacement parts for existing units.? Read and review blueprints, wiring diagrams, mechanical riser drawings, and job specifications.? Assist higher-level technicians (CET2) with more advanced procedures as needed.? Conduct daily facility walk-throughs, documenting parameters such as power availability, temperature, humidity, and alarm status for trend analysis.? Utilize Building Management System (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS) to monitor and verify the status of infrastructure.? Log all maintenance activities in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).? Learn and follow site-specific processes, including incident/outage reporting, procedure execution, and use of SharePoint for accessing procedures and training content.? Insight Global is looking for a Distribution Design Engineer for one of our large engineering consulting firms. This engineer will aide in the upgrades of a major energy providers distribution grids.- Develop design and construction work packages for electrical overhead and underground distribution systems operating from 4kV through 138kV mostly associated with programmatic work such as overloaded transformers, inspection and maintenance, joint use, and inspection reports.- Comply with the company and Client Safety requirements as well as design and quality expectations.- Perform engineering calculations such as: structural analysis for wood pole loading, guying calculations, specifying conductor sags and tensions for recommended spans, and calculation of voltage drop and flicker. – Develop permitting documents for different AHJ’s. – Provide engineering support during construction, including post-construction reviews to ensure all applicable engineering and construction standards have been met. – Conduct root cause analysis of outages and mitigation using engineering principles and design.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. A company is looking for a multiple Distribution Design Engineers to join their team. This engineer will aide in the upgrades of a major energy providers distribution grids. They will be in charge of scheduling and developing construction plans for the project work. This person will create work packages, create construction plans, bill material and will be in charge of the scope or work schedule. This person will be in charge of owning their own field work where they will be taking notes, pictures, measurements and will ultimately be in charge of the designing the project construction plans. The work will be developed using Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools, Work Management Systems (WMS), and other client systems. The project work will require performing engineering calculations that may include: structural analysis of poles, guying, cable pulling, electric demand, transformer sizing, voltage drop and flicker, and coordination of protective devices.Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
