Insight Global is hiring a Billing Coordinator for a large waste management and environmental services client based in Houston, TX. This role is responsible for performing routine and non-routine billing functions to ensure accurate, timely invoicing in accordance with service contract terms. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing and validating line items for billability, keying charges into the billing system, scanning documents, attaching supporting documentation, and working within AS400. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable navigating paper-based billing workflows in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:? Review, validate, and process high volumes of paper-based billing documentation (up to 300+ pages daily)? Determine billable transactions based on manifests, disposal tickets, and operational paperwork? Accurately code and enter charges into internal systems (AS400, BASIS, EQAI)? Collaborate with operations and sales teams to ensure accurate billing and information flow? Scan and maintain organized documentation for invoicing and audit purposes? Compile and generate monthly invoices, including pulling and reconciling supporting documents? This role will serve as the day-to-day contact and key financial partner to the management team, driving insights that improve the understanding of financial results and the ability to forecast future periods more accurately. The incumbent will leverage their understanding of critical financial systems & reporting tools (ie. SAP, UI, Power BI) to provide strong financial analysis, models and reports. The Financial Analyst II must be able to present data analysis and interpretation in clear, compelling ways to facilitate decision making by finance and operations personnel.What you’ll be working on:Supports the production of a monthly reporting package with variance analysis against prior year, budget, and forecast, including operating expense, headcount, capital and various KPIs.Performs detailed analysis of cost allocations and report on changes and trends from budget and period-over-period results.Creates and analyzes moderately complex monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensure financial information has been recorded accurately and completely.Performs moderately complex financial forecasting, financial modeling and trend analysis.Captures and reports key performance indicators, highlights notable trends and analyze causes of unexpected variances.Conducts thorough research of historical financial data to analyze trends to support executive leadership decisions.Prepares executive-level presentations and reports that translate complex data into key points and actionable insights.Completes special financial studies, e.g. cost of service studies, return on equity, capital structure, and depreciation.Maintains & updates all financial forecast data (expense, capital, headcount etc.) in the planning systems (UI, PowerPlan, SAP) of record based on feedback from shared service stakeholders.Prepares and presents various executive level dashboards with critical financial data and KPIs.Performs all other duties as assigned by Manager, Financial Analysis.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to apply past knowledge to new situations. Key duties include preparing surety bond documents accurately and promptly, receiving and applying payments, and delivering bond documents to principals.
