The Forbes lists were developed in partnership with market research firm Statista, based on survey responses from over 15,000 Canadian HR professionals, hiring managers, recruiters, and employees.

The rankings come at a time when hiring missteps remain costly. A recent survey by Insight Global found that 22% of workers say they’ve left a job within the first 90 days. The most common reasons cited for leaving include lack of training, weak company culture, and misalignment with managers—all things that can be addressed and improved in the hiring and onboarding process.
Insight Global’s approach helps mitigate these risks by evaluating candidates across multiple dimensions—from personality and experience to salary expectations and work-life balance.
