Job Description

- A federal client is seeking a Bilingual Case Manager that will conduct home studies and post release services to unaccompanied children (UC). The Case Manager will assess the safety of the home and the suitability of the sponsor before a child is unified with them. The Case Manager will ensure that the child and sponsor are doing well and connected with the community. They will act as advocates for the child, helping them navigate the unfamiliar system and connecting them with resources that meet their needs. These needs include medical care, education, mental health services, and any other well-being support that is needed.

Required Skills & Experience

- 1-3 years of progressive case management experience.

- Bachelors degree in relvant behavioral/social sciences field

- Experience conducting home studies according to state requirements.

- Strong writing skills, particularly for assessment reports

- Experience working with immigrant populations.

- Comfortable handling an expected caseload of 40 youth for home studies and post release support at any given time

- Bilingual in english and spanish

- Strong MS Office Skills

- Comfortable with extensive travel (ground or airfare) for youth home visits.

- Valid drivers license and personal vehicle.

- COVID-19 Vaccinated
