Responsibilities include approximately 50% field work utilizing company provided truck; including working on pumps, motors, controls, pipes, and valves for various clients. Tech will perform approximately 50% hands on shop work, inspecting parts, sandblasting, ordering components, painting, and testing systems. Tech may work with Mill/Lathe machining and welding if they have the required skillset. The technician needs to be able to handle sewage, hazardous liquids, confined spaces, and high voltage; must be able to communicate well with clients, suppliers, and company staff, and use basic computer and blueprint reading skills. The technician is expected to provide own personal hand and portable electric tools. The company will provide specialized tools and test equipment.
