Job Description:We are seeking a qualified and experienced Mechanical Contractor's Quality Control (QC) Technician to join our dynamic team. The Shop QC Technician will play a critical role in... ensuring that our mechanical construction projects meet the highest standards of quality. Inspect materials, products, and work in progress.? Inspect fabrications in process for compliance with specifications and drawings? Inspect welds for compliance with various codes? Observe and monitor production operations and equipment to ensure proper assembly of parts or assist in testing and monitoring activities.2. Document Management:? Mark items for acceptance or rejection? Maintain welding documentation including, weld logs, welding procedures, and welder qualifications.? Maintain receiving and inspection documentation for received materials and equipment.3. Training and Education:? Support shop personnel in facilitating quality control processes, procedures, and best practices.? Promote a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement throughout the organization.4. Supplier and Subcontractor Coordination:? Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure that materials and equipment meet specified quality standards.?
