One of our top financial services clients is looking to onboard a Functional Analysts to supportenterprise capital and finance technology initiatives, with a strongfocus on regulatory reporting,... data-driven solutions, and product delivery. The role requires a combination of domain knowledge, analytical ability, and ownership mindset to drive end-to-end delivery across business andtechnology teams. Candidates should also demonstrate the ability to leverage modern AI toolsand prompting techniques to improve productivity and analysis quality.Key Responsibilities: 1. Business & Functional Analysis- Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders- Translate requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria- Perform impact analysis for regulatory and business changes- Maintain traceability from requirements through delivery 2. Product & Agile Delivery Support- Collaborate with Product Owners and Engineering teams in Agile setup- Participate in sprint ceremonies (planning, grooming, reviews)- Clarify requirements and resolve functional queries during development- Ensure alignment with product roadmap and delivery goals 3. Data Analysis & Validation- Analyze large datasets for functional design and issue resolution- Perform data reconciliation and validation for reporting outputs- Work across upstream/downstream systems to ensure data integrity 4. Testing & Quality Assurance- Develop functional test cases and UAT scenarios- Support SIT/UAT execution and defect management- Validate system outputs against business expectations- Ensure overall solution quality prior to deployment 5. Stakeholder Communication- Act as liaison between business and technology teams- Conduct requirement walkthroughs and working sessions- Provide clear and concise documentation 6. Regulatory & Domain Support- Interpret regulatory requirements (Basel, capital reporting, etc.)- Support implementation of regulatory changes into systems- Ensure adherence to compliance and audit standards 7.
