Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of VESDA systems ? Review and validate system design, including pipe layouts and detector placement ? Perform and interpret Aspire calculations to confirm system performance ? Ensure installation meets manufacturer recommendations and industry standards ? Lead testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of aspirating detection systems Commissioning & Quality:? Lead commissioning activities including pre-functional and functional testing ? Ensure systems are fully operational, tested, and ready for inspection and turnover ? Identify and correct deficiencies prior to AHJ inspections ? Maintain high standards of QA/QC without reliance on external validation Scheduling & Project Controls:? Utilize P6 to track progress and drive field execution ? Align manpower and installation sequencing with project milestones ? Identify schedule impacts and develop recovery plans to maintain progress ? Provide accurate field reporting, progress updates, and forecastingCandidates for this role can expect to work at the construction site full-time. Daily work is completed between 5 AM and 3:30 PM. This role is for a short-term contract initially but there is potential for contract extensions or full-time conversion. Extensions are determined from our client's needs in Arizona or if the candidate is willing to travel. If candidates are open to travel, there are likely more opportunities for a longer-term position.
