Day to day responsibilities will include general maintenance and repairs for the... More following systems: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection systems, exterior finishes, elevators, nurse call, Pneumatic tubes, and anything within the hospital wall that is non-clinical. These technicians usually see 10-15 work orders per day. If something cannot be fixed by these technicians, it will be escalated to a 3rd party vendor. This technician will also conduct biweekly, quarterly, semiannually, and annual preventative maintenance including inspections and testing on specific equipment.
