As a Senior Java Developer, you will play a key role in maintaining, enhancing, and migrating a critical clinical decision support system that processes insurance and member data to generate insights... for healthcare providers and members. You will support and optimize backend APIs that power client data and front-end applications while maintaining and upgrading the backend processing engine to ensure data accuracy and system efficiency. A major focus of your role will be assisting in the migration from an on-premise system to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) while ensuring both environments run seamlessly in parallel. You will implement GCP cloud-native services such as Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage, collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and containerization, and monitor system scalability, reliability, and security. Your responsibilities also include conducting performance optimizations, debugging issues, writing unit and integration tests, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations like HIPAA.
