Job DescriptionInsight Global is seeking Test Specialists to join one of our top clients in the energy industry in Greenville, SC. The ideal candidate will have an Associates or Tech School Degree,... More or military experience (electrical, hands-on background). The test specialists will be working alongside the dynamics technicians to install instrumentation equipment and troubleshoot any issues involved with turbine testing. The primary focus of this role is to: run tests at customer sites to ensure efficiency of turbines, coordinate with manufacturing and vendors to ensure instrumentation is assembled correctly during operations, work with other teams to design/apply instrumentation methods for gas turbine hardware, manage validations projects alongside other teams, and review budgets/schedules/drawings. Some other aspects of this role require installing of cables in cable trays, packing/shipping/setting up test equipment, and traveling as needed for about 50% of the time. This is an extremely fast-paced role with opportunity for growth, so the client is seeking someone with an eagerness to learn. This is a contract position with the opportunity to go full-time once the candidate has shown competency in the role.
