A premier Energy company in the Houston, Texas area is seeking a DevOps SRE Engineer to support a mission-critical, in-house trading application that is used daily by traders across global markets.... The DevOps SRE Engineer will be responsible for ensuring production stability, incident response, and overall platform reliability while working closely with traders and engineering teams to maintain uninterrupted trading operations. The engineer will support and maintain a live trading application used by multiple global trading desks and act as the first-line technical partner for traders during production issues. The role involves diagnosing transaction failures and system incidents, coordinating with engineering teams to identify and resolve root causes, and driving DevOps best practices across supporting teams. In addition, the individual will continuously improve platform reliability, monitoring, and deployment processes while taking full ownership of high-priority, trader-facing systems. This position is required to sit onsite 3 days a week in Houston (either downtown or off i10 and Dairy Ashford).
