Ensure BOMs are fully detailed with correct part numbers, quantities, approved alternates, manufacturer part numbers, and sourcing data.? Work closely with Procurement to identify and validate component availability, lifecycle status (e.g., NRND, End-of-Life (EOL)), and cost-effective alternatives.? Review and implement Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and ensure timely BOM updates in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and PLM systems.? Manage BOM version control and ensure traceability for all revisions throughout the product lifecycle.? Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by coordinating BOM readiness, cost analysis, and release to manufacturing.? Coordinate with equipment manufacturers to ensure BOMs are manufactural and aligned with production requirements.? Implement Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Cost (DFC) best practices in BOM structuring.? Monitor compliance with industry standards (RoHS, REACH, etc.) and ensure all BOM components meet applicable regulatory requirements.?
