The individual supports security documentation efforts, tracks progress toward authorization milestones, and produces reporting to help stakeholders understand compliance status, risks, and trends. The role is advisory in nature and focuses on tracking, coordination, documentation review, and executive-level reporting.Day-to-Day Responsibilities- Track submission timelines for IT security documentation, including System Security Plans (SSPs) and required updates- Review security documentation for completeness against established requirements and identify gaps or missing elements- Maintain compliance trackers and dashboards to monitor progress toward authorization milestones- Track authorization and assessment activities, including documentation submissions, audit timelines, remediation items, and approval milestones- Coordinate meetings among technical teams, security stakeholders, and leadership to support authorization and compliance activities- Document meeting outcomes, action items, and follow-ups to ensure accountability and progress- Monitor submission of required compliance reports and audits, reviewing materials for completeness and alignment with requirements- Track adherence to website and digital standards, monitoring changes to applicable policies and flagging potential impacts- Maintain deliverables matrices to monitor schedules, dependencies, and potential delays- Identify risks to compliance or schedule and provide written analysis and summaries for leadership awareness- Prepare monthly status reports, executive summaries, and briefing materials that clearly communicate compliance posture and trends- Analyze systemic issues and recommend process improvements to improve efficiency and visibility (advisory only)Compensation:$50-68/hr.
