The role will begin heavily focused on helping during a planned leave and then the back half of the contract will be focused more on the backend of HR, documentation, etc. This role serves as a primary point of contact for onboarding, employee relations support, people data and reporting, and HR technology?most notably as the system administrator for Lattice. The ideal candidate brings sound judgment, emotional intelligence, and a systems mindset to deliver an exceptional employee experience that is fair, accessible, and responsive.Key ResponsibilitiesEmployee Onboarding & Lifecycle Experience?Lead the new hire onboarding experience from offer acceptance through the employee?s first year, ensuring new hires feel welcomed, informed, and supported.?Proactively communicate clearly and proactively with new hires, hiring managers, and internal partners to set expectations and reduce ambiguity.?Oversee and evolve onboarding logistics ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and follow-through.?Manage onboarding documentation, system access, and workflows with close attention to detail and compliance requirements.?Evaluate onboarding feedback and data to identify equity gaps, friction points, and opportunities for continuous improvement.Employee Relations Support?Provide front-line support to employees and managers, responding to questions and concerns with empathy, neutrality, and professionalism.?Support People Team leaders with documentation, fact-finding, and follow-up related to employee relations matters.?Apply policies and practices consistently, recognizing how bias, power dynamics, and communication styles may affect employee experience.?Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information.HR Systems Administration (Lattice Focus)?Serve as the primary administrator for Lattice.?Configure system workflows, calendars, and permissions with precision and attention to data integrity.?Translate system functionality into clear guidance and communications for managers and employees.?Troubleshoot issues thoughtfully and ensure system changes are tested, documented, and communicated effectively.People Data, Reporting & Insights?Collect, maintain, and analyze people data with a strong focus on accuracy, consistency, and responsible data use.?Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports related to onboarding, engagement, performance, and workforce trends.?Surface insights that help the People Team and leaders identify patterns, inequities, and opportunities for improvement.?Present data in a clear, accessible manner that supports informed and equitable decision-makingWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
