The role requires a thick-skinned, highly polished client-facing leader who can navigate strong personalities, competing priorities, and a highly visible stakeholder environment.The Head of Projects will manage and grow a project management team while partnering closely with internal account leadership and end clients to guide capital planning, budgeting, and prioritization of work.Key ResponsibilitiesProject & Portfolio LeadershipProvide senior oversight for a wide range of projects, including:Full-building renovationsInfrastructure and MEP upgradesCapital improvement projectsDeferred maintenance and modernization initiativesEnsure all projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to stakeholder expectationsOversee multiple concurrent projects at various stages of design and constructionLead monthly and ad hoc project review meetings covering schedule, budget, risk, and complianceAgency / Owner?s Representative ModelOperate primarily in an agency / owner?s rep capacity, managing:External vendors, consultants, and contractorsProject schedules, reporting, and governanceIn some cases, operate under a principal delivery model, directly engaging contractors and assuming delivery riskEnsure adherence to safety, regulatory, contractual, and quality standards across all projectsStakeholder & Client EngagementServe as the senior point of contact for a highly visible, multi-stakeholder client environmentManage relationships with end users, leadership stakeholders, site teams, and external partnersNavigate conflict resolution, competing priorities, and strong personalities with professionalism and confidenceMaintain high levels of client satisfaction through clear communication and proactive issue managementCapital Planning & StrategyPartner with account leadership and end clients to:Support capital improvement planningAssist with project budgeting and long-term planningHelp prioritize projects based on funding, urgency, and strategic valueProvide guidance on how and where capital dollars should be allocatedTeam Leadership & DevelopmentLead and develop a growing project team, including:Senior Project ManagersProject ManagersUpcoming hires (additional PM and Assistant PM)Drive performance management, mentoring, and professional developmentSupport onboarding and integration of new team membersGovernance, Reporting & Risk ManagementEnsure consistent project controls, reporting, and governance processesIdentify and mitigate project risks (schedule, technical, safety, financial, stakeholder)Track and report on project performance metrics and forecastsImplement and improve project delivery processes and standardsWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
