Our client, a large nationwide AV integrator, is looking to hire a Sr. ESS Field Service Engineer to their team. This person will be responsible for providing onsite troubleshooting, diagnostic support, and hands on resolution for a wide range of Electronic Security Systems (ESS). This role supports both field service engineers and technicians by addressing complex technical issues, ensuring operational continuity, and contributing to the success of managed service efforts. Some travel is included but the majority of the work is in the greater Southern VA area Day to Day:?Ability to serve as the primary technical escalation point for all ESS related issues, providing expert level diagnostics, fault isolation, root cause analysis, and resolution of medium- to high complexity problems.?Repair, service, and operational health of ESS equipment, including planning and implementing system improvements to enhance performance and reliability.?Develop, execute, and track daily and weekly preventive maintenance schedules, including reporting to ensure optimized system readiness and functionality across customized spaces.?Identify, failed, or degraded equipment and take full ownership through resolution, including documentation, communication, and follow through.?Perform safe, precise fault diagnosis, including removal, repair, testing, implementation, and verification of ESS components, devices, and systems.?Experience collaborating with client teams to schedule meetings and prepare meeting spaces, ensuring required technology accommodations for trainers and end users are fully functional.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Insight Global is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join one of the world’s leading technology companies. This will be part of the Reality Labs organization which brings people around the world through next generation Augmented, Mixed, and Virtual Reality. The primary function of this role is a generalist Electrical Engineer supporting smart glasses case hardware development. Day-to-day work includes reviewing designs and schematics, evaluating PCB layouts, performing validation testing, and conducting failure analysis. The primary focus is hands-on lab work, executing detailed electrical measurements, troubleshooting, and system-level analysis to ensure hardware meets performance, reliability, and safety expectations. Key focus areas include power, battery, charging, and system-level measurements. The ideal candidate has strong EE fundamentals, hands-on lab skills, and experience in consumer electronics or wearables.Job Responsibilities:Own validation efforts for smart glasses case systems, including defining test plans, coverage, and pass/fail criteria.Perform system-level electrical measurements and analysis across power rails, regulators, batteries, charging paths, and load behavior.Execute lab debugging and troubleshooting using oscilloscopes, power meters, DMMs, logic analyzers, and similar instrumentation.Conduct failure analysis of electrical issues including component failures, battery degradation, charging anomalies, and system-level faults.Review and evaluate PCB layouts, schematics, and designs ? flag errors and suggest improvements.Review and approve product prototypes, working models, or simulation-based models.Write detailed functional specifications, test procedures, and design tradeoff documentation.Support new technology introduction and NPI/manufacturing validation efforts.Direct technicians, engineering designers, or other technical support personnel as needed.Ensure compliance with relevant safety and regulatory standards (e.g., EMC) and support certification activities.Candidates will be evaluated based on deliverables in hardware validation, prototype builds, documentation quality, and cross-functional communication.Pay range: $55-70/hrWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. The CNC Programmer is responsible for developing, updating, and maintaining CNC programs to support the safe, accurate, and efficient production of machined parts using Mastercam. This role focuses on writing programs for new jobs, revising existing programs when changes occur, and incorporating updated tooling or technology to improve machining processes. A key objective of this position is to reduce scrap, eliminate program errors, and ensure safe machine operation.This role is minimum on site 4 days a week in Chesapeake VA. Work schedule is 4 x 10 hours days with option overtime on Fridays when work load allows. Compensation: $35/hr-$45/hr. Hardware Maintenance:? Hardware problem diagnosis? Replacement parts and materials are provided by Technology Engineers and/or Hardware Suppliers? Replacement of hardware components under the direction of the CTSS team and the equipment’s supplier (as required)Software Maintenance:? Aid engineers in software problem diagnosis.? Aid engineers in operating system problem diagnosis.? Implement solutions under the guidance of the ICIT team, engineer, and the equipment’s supplier as required.? Provide Anti-Virus Patching Services – based upon a maintenance schedule.? Provide Operating System Debug and Patching Services -with concurrence and direction from CTSS, System LOB Owner, and Equipment Supplier.Procurement, Auditing, and Documentation:? Aid engineers in purchasing new equipment using the buyer’s internal required process.? Work with the team to purchase the required equipment via the buyer’s internal business system or purchasing credit card.? Aid engineers in the completion and documentation related to the assessment process.? Aid engineers in completing any required audits for the LOB Systems.? Aid engineers in the implementation of the Continuous Monitoring (CM) process that will be implemented during the next phase of the RMF process.Miscellaneous Computer System Support:? Aid engineers with general system related issues? Aid engineers with system design questions for upgrades/ new purchases? Consult with the Engineers on new technology implementations? Partner with design, build operations, print operations, material supply chain, and cross-functional teams to ensure designs are cost-efficient and constructible? Collaborate with building performance, material science, and technology teams to identify innovative materials, processes, and design optimizations that generate measurable cost savings? Support business development with conceptual and schematic-level estimates for pursuits, proposals, and pricing strategies? Lead bid solicitations, review subcontractor proposals, perform bid leveling, and ensure complete scope coverage and competitive pricing? Conduct market research and maintain accurate cost databases and benchmark models reflecting current pricing, escalation, and regional trends? Review design documents and specifications for accuracy, coordination, and completeness, providing actionable feedback to design and engineering teams? Support the development of project delivery strategies, procurement plans, and subcontractor engagement approaches aligned with an integrated general contracting model?
