Primary Responsibilities?Keep the Build Stable: You?ll own the development and maintenance of the automation scripts that verify our latest features, ensuring that as the game grows, our test coverage keeps pace without slowing down the team.?Partner with Studios: We don?t work in a vacuum; you?ll collaborate directly with dev teams to weave unit, functional, and performance tests into their daily pipelines so they get the feedback they need exactly when they need it.?Master the Pipeline: When the CI/CD “build train” hits a snag, you?ll be the one diving into the logs to troubleshoot high-concurrency issues and get the pipeline back to a stable, reliable state.?Kill Manual Overhead: You?ll help us move away from “hand-cranked” testing by automating the orchestration of our environments, drastically cutting down wait times and making our feedback loops as tight as possible.?Experiment with AI: We?re actively looking for better ways to work. Insight Global is supporting a consumer-facing mobile application that releases new features on a weekly cadence. We?re looking for a Manual QA Engineer to focus on functional, black-box testing of mobile builds on iOS and Android, helping ensure each release is thoroughly tested, issues are clearly documented, and fixes are verified before sign-off.This is a manual-first role with some light involvement in an existing TypeScript-based automation framework (framework already built). In this role, you will primarily focus on manual testing of mobile applications on iOS and Android devices, validating new features and regression scenarios as part of a weekly release cycle. You will receive new builds, install them on devices using TestFlight (iOS) and ADB (Android), execute test cases, and perform black-box functional testing to ensure core user flows work as expected. Throughout the testing process, you will log and track defects in JIRA, re-test fixes in subsequent builds, and help provide release sign-off by the end of each week. You will also use Charles Proxy to inspect mobile network traffic to support debugging and defect validation, and you will support existing automation efforts by creating or updating test cases in an established TypeScript-based test framework and assisting with basic test debugging as needed.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
