This position is focused on the design, development, integration, and maintenance of software as a part of on-site factory support of systems to support weapon system product development. The selected candidate will develop applications, libraries, and instrument drivers using the software style, development language, and integrated development environment specified by the organization.The selected candidate will contribute to multidiscipline engineering teams. Typical work involves the development of both engineering and production equipment, environments, and systems. As such, the candidate will contribute to the completion of all stages of product development for weapon system products. A large organization is seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrical Engineer, PE to join their Facility Services team. This role is pivotal in providing electrical engineering expertise and technical support for a variety of design and construction projects. The successful candidate will manage projects efficiently, cost-effectively, ensuring compliance with organization standards and industry best practices. Key duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Duties and Responsibilities1.Project Documentation and Field Reviews (30%)?Review project documentation and perform field reviews to ensure compliance with project requirements, quality standards, and codes.?Coordinate with consultants and other design team members.2.Design and Drawings Preparation (20%)?Design electrical systems for building projects, including code review, lighting calculations, layout, one-line diagrams, and various electrical calculations.?Write and edit electrical system specifications.3.Commissioning and Testing (20%)?Coordinate and participate in commissioning activities, acceptance testing, and reliability acceptance testing.?Troubleshoot issues as they arise.4.Consultant Coordination and Standards Compliance (20%)?Develop requests for proposals, scopes of work, review proposals, and select consulting engineers.?Ensure Organization standards, policies, procedures, and best practices are applied throughout projects.5.Technical Leadership and Expertise (10%)?Provide technical leadership in design, commissioning, and construction projects.?Prepare various electrical diagrams, calculations, schedules, and specifications.?Manage small electrical design projects.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Insight Global is supporting a leading defense client on a mission-critical, high-visibility initiative. The goal of this engagement is to deliver skilled automation engineers who will drive scalable automation solutions that streamline provisioning, improve security compliance, and replace manual processes with reliable, repeatable operations across diverse environments.On a typical day, you will be writing and improving Ansible automation, testing it in lower environments, and working with teammates to roll it safely into production. You?ll break down manual infrastructure or security processes and replace them with idempotent, reusable automation that can be re-run without risk. You?ll collaborate with compliance specialists to understand new or updated security requirements and translate those requirements into automated checks and remediation. You?ll troubleshoot failed automation runs, improve performance and reliability, and update documentation so others can operate and maintain what you?ve built. You?ll also contribute to CI/CD pipelines, review code in Git, and track automation metrics such as success rates and time saved.This is a hands-on engineering role that combines coding, infrastructure knowledge, and security awareness.Compensation: $55-70/HR Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching.
