A client of Insight Global is seeking a Quality Technician to test and inspect incoming vendor material, customer supplied material, final and in process products and components at inspection points in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Position ResponsibilitiesInspect material visually and mechanically using hand tools, gauges, and optical equipment to the engineering print at receiving, in-process and final inspection.Conduct Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) related to measuring parts and the position of features.Utilize a Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM) for non-contact measurement.Test parts on fine leak tester, hipot, capacitance meter, solder pot, and other test equipment to meet customer requirements.Familiar with AS9102, the aerospace first article requirements and reporting.Familiar with IPC 610 / J Std / Mil 883 industry standards for testing and inspection.Ensure all inspection documentation is completed correctly.Maintains QC logs and records.Perform internal calibrations and provides calibration support as needed.Verifies that the proper documentation accompanies the shipment of product.Package product per the customer?s requirements.Perform corrective action on rejected material.Perform returned material authorizations (RMA).Assist with corrective action or feedback on quality issues, as a Quality team member.Provide quality system support as needed.Provide special project support as needed.Perform all other duties as assigned.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. The ideal candidate will be a mid-level accounting professional with a few years of experience who can walk into a corporate environment and immediately contribute to day-to-day accounting operations.This position is not entry-level but also does not require senior-level experience. A client of Insight Global is seeking a Manufacturing Technitian. The manufacturing techitian performs complex mechanical integration on high value solder modules for both turn-key and customer supplied products. The focus of the position is on Solder Module integration demonstrating highest levels of quality assurance and handling. The position will be working in the Solder Lab area. Position Responsibilities:Integrates feedthrus, cap feeds, heli coils, studs, connectors, and other various components into solder modules per customer and/or engineering specification applying above standard care in handling and visual inspections.Is proficient in setting up and running appropriate furnace profiles for soldering processes.Is proficient in setting up and running Branson Ultrasonic cleaning system, Cincinnati Sub-Zero Temperature Chamber, Leak Testeer, and High Pot Tester.Verifies print, picking ticket, and associated paperwork for accuracy.Evaluates and makes recommendations for current fixturing improvements in automation, integration, and inspection.Is proficient with the rework station and performs rework on modules and processes necessary documentation.Assists with troubleshooting problems within the integration process.Is familiar with ISO and AS expectations associated with the integration process and flow.Documents necessary changes and provides feedback to Production Supervisor.Keeps informed and has a general knowledge of production schedules and issues.Familiar with all standard safety procedures and follows all safety precautions throughout daily activities.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
