Insight Global is seeking a Buyer to support procurement operations for a leading healthcare organization in New York City. This role is responsible for managing the entire purchasing lifecycle, from... approved requisition through matched invoice, ensuring uninterrupted supply of critical medical-surgical products and services across multiple locations. The Buyer will place and monitor purchase orders, follow up with suppliers to resolve discrepancies, research alternate sources when contracted vendors cannot meet demand, and ensure accurate pricing and invoice reconciliation.This individual will serve as a key customer service partner to departments both on and off campus, operating in a high-volume, fast-paced, and highly transactional healthcare purchasing environment where prioritization and urgency are critical. The Buyer will work closely with Strategic Sourcing and Data teams to identify sourcing opportunities, report pricing inconsistencies, support supplier additions or changes, and maintain clear documentation of purchasing decisions.
