Performs required safety test on boilers on every shift, recording readings every two hours on critical plant equipment in service.Checks water levels on all heating and cooling systems in use. Collects water samples from each system and conducts tests to determine proper chemical content.Maintains all reports and logs according to departmental policies and procedures.Reports promptly all malfunctions of equipment, or other irregularities to appropriate personnel. Participates in the computerized maintenance management system for work and equipment documentation.Monitors and manages building climate using the energy management computer system.Clean and unclog drains and toilets, repair water faucets, flushometers, perform the installation of plumbing fixture and piping, perform repairs in steam, oxygen, vacuum and other medical gases.
