This individual will conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments, identify potential hazards, and partner with operations teams to implement corrective actions that promote a safe workplace. They will investigate incidents and near misses, track safety metrics, lead root cause analyses, and develop training programs to improve employee awareness and compliance. Additionally, the Sr. Safety Specialist will collaborate with leadership to drive continuous improvement initiatives, support regulatory reporting requirements, and foster a strong culture of safety across the facility.
