Significant application of concepts such as design to specification, design for manufacturing, design for inspection, and design for cost. -Stress analysis has a heavy emphasis on structural dynamics, fatigue, and nonlinear solutions. FEA tasks range from simple geometry creation and meshing all the way to final analysis report. ? Works with a diverse cross-functional team of engineers designing and analyzing metallic parts that are produced using a variety of manufacturing methods.? All work goes through review process to higher levels; 50% work unsupervised ? This role will be delivering final designs and results ? Common methods: forming and welding of sheet metal, machining, additive manufacturing, and casting. ? Regular interaction with internal teams of: Project Engineers, Drafters, Manufacturing Engineers, Quality Engineers, Test Lab Personnel, Contracts, and Sales. ?
