Analyzes financial information and prepares balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports (including 10-K?s and 10-Q?s) to summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position for management;?Audits contracts, orders, and vouchers, and prepares reports to substantiate individual transactions prior to settlement;?Maintains responsibility for key Accounting functions (i.e. cash, investments, accounts receivable, prepaids, fixed assets, internally developed software, notes receivable, notes payable, leases, deferred rent, accounts payable, customer advances, accrued expenses, income taxes, rebates, payroll, etc.);?Manages internal resources to successfully perform assigned duties within the Accounting group. The Grants Accountant will support the financial management of federal, state, and local grant programs within an intermediate unit, ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and compliance across... school-based funding initiatives. This individual will manage the full lifecycle of grant accounting activities, including budget monitoring, expenditure tracking, reconciliations, and financial reporting aligned with grant requirements. The role requires strong collaboration with program leaders, school administrators, and external stakeholders to ensure proper use of grant funds and adherence to regulatory guidelines. The Grants Accountant will perform cyclical grant activities such as monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting, audit preparation, and grant closeout.
