Our client is seeking an HVAC Control Systems Operator (Building Automation System Operator) to join their federal team supporting the National Defense University. ?Maintain and monitor the... performance of the Facility Control Systems. This includes monitoring and managing equipment and system alarms utilizing graphical user interfaces and control system programs?Validates equipment and system alarms, and creates work orders in the Computerized Maintenance Management Systems for the Technicians to follow up with?Continuously monitors the Facility Control Systems, primarily using Siemens BAS system to ensure proper operation of all systems and equipment?Conducts shift turn over meetings when coming on shift and when finishing shifts?Completes shift reports and logs primarily in Microsoft Word and Excel?May perform minor maintenance and service on HVAC equipment to include, but not limited to, filter changes, greasing, and other preventative maintenance dutiesWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
