An employer based in Boulder, CO is looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer to join their growing customer focused team. The Cybersecurity Engineer will support a new U.S. Space Force satellite... constellation by identifying, mitigating, and managing cybersecurity risks for a mission-critical ground system supporting OPIR operations. This role partners closely with systems and engineering teams to design, harden, and deliver secure environments while ensuring compliance with RMF, DISA STIGs, and cybersecurity frameworks. Responsibilities include performing vulnerability scans, developing cyber plans and procedures, generating ATO documentation, and hardening complex environments across Linux, VMware, network, storage, and identity platforms. The engineer will also interface directly with government customers, requiring strong communication skills and attention to detail. The position requires an active DoD Secret clearance, at least five years of cybersecurity engineering experience, and full-time onsite work in Boulder, with OPIR mission experience considered a strong plus.
