We are seeking a high-impact Functional Lead with strong technical knowledge to drive the end-to-end scheduling and labor forecasting capability for Workforce Management. This role will lead business... discovery, process and solution design, and delivery execution (configuration/build/integration/testing) across scheduling, forecasting, staffing plans, and related analytics. The ideal candidate blends deep functional expertise in WFM (forecasting demand, staffing, schedule generation, rules/compliance), strong hands on experience customizing and configuring WFM applications like Infor, UKG, Legion etc, with technical understanding (data flows, integrations/APIs, reporting/analytics), enabling them to identify the right solution, translate business needs into scalable designs, and partner effectively with engineering/architecture to deliver. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: -Drive fit-gap analysis across vendor/product options and current-state tools; recommend the ?right? functional approach (process + platform configuration) with clear tradeoffs and decision rationale.-Design forecasting workflows and operating model (inputs, assumptions, scenarios, overrides, governance) to produce reliable demand and staffing plans.-Define scheduling design patterns: shift templates, rules, segment windows, trial schedule sets, and schedule optimization constraints; ensure designs support business realities and compliance.-Establish solution guardrails for accuracy, auditability, and transparency (e.g., how totals are validated, how exceptions/anomalies are handled, how ?what-if? analysis is performed).-Partner with engineering/technology leads to convert functional designs into configuration and build plans (configuration, custom extensions, reporting, automation, integrations)-Own functional delivery.
